INVESTIGATE
A suite of different skills, mostly based on intuition and intellect but also partly from personal experience, join to represent the Investigate Ability Check.
Similar to a skill, Investigate requires an amount of time to complete as adjudicated by the situation (and DM).
Ranks cannot be purchased on Investigate as it is not a real skill.
Investigate has a modifier determined by adding the following:

· Character Level, plus
· Knowledge (Related) Ranks, plus
· Perception Ranks, plus
· Sense Motive Ranks

The relevant Knowledge Check is based on the circumstances such as Religion for investigating a church, Nature for investigating natural regions, etc. as determined by the DM.
Average time for Investigate is 1 minute per 10×10 region and is adjusted by the DM as needed.
The average DC for Investigate is 20 + Enemy HD.

TAKE-10 DEFENSE
Elect to Take-10 on Armor Class in lieu of rolling 1d20 (Default)
- You can elect to roll 1d20 in lieu of assuming a base AC of 10 plus modifiers)

TAKE-10 OFFENSE
Elect to Take-10 on an Attack Roll in lieu of rolling 1d20
- Failure to include Die Rolls when needed will result in Take-10 Offense

TAKE-10 RESISTANCE
Elect to Take-10 on a Saving Throw roll in lieu of rolling 1d20
- Failure to include Die Rolls when needed will result in Take-10 Resistance
